Question about Starbucks Saeco Italia Digital Barista Coffee Machine

Starbucks Saeco Italia multiple leaks diagnosed ...

Solutions on fixya.com helped me pinpoint one source of my leak. Keeping the machine in operation I carefully removed the back of the machine. I detected a hissing sound and steam originating from the heat exchanger casing while it heated up. When I brewed a shot of espresso I saw a significant leak coming out of the heat exchanger casing seams.
Do I simply buy a replacement part ($$) or is there more I can do with the heat exchanger?
The secondary leak manifests itself by a small drip from the steam wand despite being turned off. The leak is more aggressive if I am brewing a shot. Inside I did notice the faucet body is leaking. Should I replace the piston inside? The faucet body itself looks fine. The O-rings look good. I did clean up (de-calcify) the inside of the faucet body/piston but it did not help. Does it need some lubrication? Thanks.

SOURCE: Super espresso machine leaking

Hi
Your steam manifold needs to be replaced. I still have the original in mine but if you don't cool them down after steaming they will develop hair line cracks and leak after while. To cool it down after steaming push the steam button again, then open the knob and run it till you have a steady stream of water, then close the knob.
The replacement manifolds are black and have held up very well but they have a brass manifold re[placement but you will need new mounting hardware.

Why would there be internal leaking into the tray

Never use vinegar to clean your machine. It is possible that the orings are worn out on the brew unit.

Water in the coffee grounds drawer

Look for a leak near the brew group on near the piston area.

Changing the brew group should solve this problem.
