The new LCD monitor worked fine for five days, then after I left it on overnight, the computer went into sleep mode and it won't wake up. I also get no lights on my keyboard, but I do get a light on my mouse.

Well maybe a power surge happened last night.
Is the computer plugged into a power protector? If not maybe something got fried.
Check for the smell of burnt components. It smells like burning plastic kind of. If everything looks fine make sure everything is plugged in tightly like the power cord and hard drives etc.
Hope this helped.

Plug the monitor into another computer to determine if the monitor is damaged or working properly. You can also plug another monitor into your computer to determine the same thing.
