Do onething login with your paypal account and check whether the transfer is done or not..you can see account details overthere..
If you are sure that the transfer is done and he didn't got the transfer then goto paypal.com and login with your id.Now at the top you will "Help" click on it after the page open on the right hand side you will see something like this "Have a question?""Contact Us".So click on it..Now after the page open there will  be 3 options for you to contact paypal..choose "Help by phone"..Now you will get there toll free no and you can talk to them regarding the transaction to your son.........also you can use "Help by email"..
Also ask your son to login with his id at paypal.com and do the same procedure..
The help centre of paypal.com is very good and I assure you that they will definitely help and willl fix the issue that you are facing regarding transaction..
Thanks

Generally in this situation you should have a confermation number sent to you via e-mail. if your son did not receive the money that means there is no confermation number of this so just send a request to paypal support. state that you have the confermation e-mail of sending it yet your son did not receive it and therefore you want your money back. Just like western union there has to be a validation number upon sending as well as a seperate validation upon receiving and both will be on record in paypals system if this were a successful transaction, however seeing that your son did not receive the money there will be only one validation in the systems this will confirm that you are entitled to a refund of your money. good luck... please rate this

I want to send money?

Transfer Money Using PayPal

PayPal provides a safe, secure way to transfer money online.
All you need is the recipient's email address or cell phone number.
With that, you can be making purchases online or sending money to family or friends for holidays or special events.
The service is free for both parties in the United States when using their PayPal balance or bank account.

Set up an account at the PayPal website (paypal.com).
All you need is an email address.
The person to whom you are sending the money must also have a PayPal account to receive the funds.
Sign into your PayPal account and decide how you want to send the money.
If you already have a PayPal account, you may have a balance from which you can withdraw.
If not, click the "My Account" tab, hover over "Profile" and add your bank account or credit card if you haven't done so already.

Click the "Send Money" tab once you have input your information.
Place the recipient's email address or cellphone number in the first input box and how much you want to transfer in the second.
Choose the currency you are using and click the appropriate radio button for the type of purchase it is. Click "Continue."

Choose your payment method on the Review Your Payment page.
Scroll down to Payment Method and click "Change."
Enter a personal message if you want and then click "Send Money."
Your transaction is complete.

Send Money Online

There are many ways to send your money online.
Today many companies accept your bill payments, as well as sending your refunds through online companies that handle only online transactions.
This can be an easy task once you know where to look.
Navigate and click on your Internet Service Provider to begin the online experience.
In the search bar at the top, type in the website where you are going to pay your bill.
Sign in to your account with your user name and password.
Once on the new page, find and click on the Pay My Bill link.
This will open another window where you can complete your bank or credit card information to complete your bill payment process.
Keep the receipt that is sent to your email address as proof of payment for future reference.
If you need to send money to an individual person, there are many companies to choose from that offer money services online.
In this example, Paypal is the provider.
See Below for the link to set up an account.
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_registration-run
Log in to the Paypal website with the email address and password you signed up with.
Once on the site, click on "Send Money "in the bar at the top of the page.
Type in the person's name or phone number in the first space available on the new page.
This will track their Paypal account, so your money will be deposited there.
If you have sent money to this person before, there is a drop down menu that will allow you to choose this person's name from your saved list.

Click the bubble to the left of the reason you are sending the money.
The options are "Service," "Goods," "Ebay item" and "Cash Advance."
Once you choose this, go to the next blank and fill in the amount you are sending in American Dollars.
Once you click on "Send Money" at the bottom of the screen, your money has been sent.
You will get an email detailing your transaction for future reference.

Hi,

If you used PayPal to purchase an item and you wish to request a refund, you will need to log in to PayPal to do this. You can click here for the website.

You can only cancel your transaction if the recipient has not claimed the money. To request a refund, you'll need to contact the recipient of the payment.

To cancel the payment from your bank:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the My Account tab.
3. Click Unclaimed next to the transaction.
4. Click Cancel Payment.

The payment will be returned to your PayPal account, not your bank account. From there, you can withdraw the money from your PayPal account to your bank account.

To cancel your credit card payment:

2. Click the My Account tab.
3. Click Unclaimed next to the transaction.
4. Click Cancel Payment.

Carol Kelly Could you please help me,this is the first purchase I have made. After setting up my PayPal account and having it confirmed, I put in the email address for my purchase which is...

lovemypet@domain.com is not the same as lovemypet.com.au.
Notice that the second one doesn't have an '@' sign, which an email address should have.

You have sent money to some the ID lovemypet@domain.com

Now, this is to try recover your money.

Go to "Resolution Center" in PayPal
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_complaint-view&nav=0.4

Click "Dispute a Transaction"

Select "Item Dispute"

Enter the Transaction ID of the payment sent. [Click "find transaction ID if you already don't know it. I hope you will recognize the amount sent from the history."]

Click "continue"

Now, follow the instructions.
You will have to write something describing the problem.
Maybe you can write "Hey, I have not received the .......... that I bought on...... . Have you already sent the item?"

Now, you have to ask the seller his PayPal ID. From where did you buy the item? I hope it is some website.

Please tell me if there is any other problem.
