Iam not able to copy video songs into my Sansae260 mp3 player bcoz i lost the software, what is the other option...plz help me..bhanu

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. Windows mEDIA PLAYER SAYs my sansae260 is full, but device won't sync. It says no song. I tried to reset, but still says no song

change the usb modes also....MSC will allow you to see the expansion card ( 2Gig E200 series 4gig Fuze) mtp won't.....MTP shows you your music folder in the media folder thats where you put your music plus expansion.....
Delete songs and Format (Helps with trying to delete BAD TRACKS and folders that will not delete full memory(Some ripped CD folders).. Go to my computer scroll to sansa or your MP3 player and open the music folder and open each sub folder and delete Songs manually then delete the folders themselves then format a couple of times hope this works

I connect sansae260 to PC, Nothing apears on Sansa's Screen

You may need to now reset the player, that may have been a bit much for it.
To reset your Sansa Mp3 player.
  1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
  2. Release the Power switch.
  3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.
If that does not get your player working again, try and Format to clear any corrupt files that may be present.

My sansa will download the mp3 and it says file transfered to device, but it doesnt show up anywhere on the device...sometimes when i try to put mp3s on it, it just shuts off then reboots...

your file in device but it not shown because it is in hidden mode..if you wanna to see that file please follow below procedure..

conect your mp3 player to system(lapy or desktop) with usb.after that open my computer-->go to your mp3 player drive, there is nothing shown..

now for resolve this problem go to tools which is below on adress bar-->click on folder option-->view-->there is option lik "show hiddens files and folder" ,tick on that box and apply.

now you see that all files and folder are visible....enjoy

Cant get passed recovery mode

this came from another post on fix ya.

For me the solution was this:
After entering the recovery mode (turn off the player, move the hold button to the right, and press the on and rec button, then connecting to the computer).
when the 16 mb folder opens create a NEW FOLDER (not a text document) called "Sansa.fmt". then disconec the usb and it was fixed.

SANSA E260 ENTER USB 2.0 MSD MODE

if you go into the setting section of the menu you can select the USB mode back again, if this fails to solve the problem, take the back of the player off via 4 very small phillips screws and remove the battery for at least 30 seconds then put it back in and it should be good.

You may have changed the mode on he device. Napster only work with the device in MTP / Rhapsody Mode. If thats not it, check to see if the firmware can be updated. Firmware Update http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 Best of Luck.
