Windows mEDIA PLAYER SAYs my sansae260 is full, but device won't sync. It says no song. I tried to reset, but still says no song

change the usb modes also....MSC will allow you to see the expansion card ( 2Gig E200 series 4gig Fuze) mtp won't.....MTP shows you your music folder in the media folder thats where you put your music plus expansion.....
Delete songs and Format (Helps with trying to delete BAD TRACKS and folders that will not delete full memory(Some ripped CD folders).. Go to my computer scroll to sansa or your MP3 player and open the music folder and open each sub folder and delete Songs manually then delete the folders themselves then format a couple of times hope this works

My Sansa Express MP3 player does not show up on my computer as "Sansa Express" but is shown as Removable Disk (K:). Is this right

Normally your Sansa Express would show up as "Sansa Express", which would indicate that it is in MTP mode. The Sansa Express doesn't supply a menu option to switch to MSC mode, which would cause it to show up as a "removable disk". Apparently your Sansa Express has somehow switched to MSC mode. MSC mode is necessary for upgrading firmware, in which case it's called "recovery mode", and it's possible that some combination of key presses (usually involving holding down the power/hold button) put it into this mode.

If you double-click on "removable disk (K:)", do you see a Music folder? If so, is there anything in the Music folder?

Some un wanted folders are stored in my sansaE260,THEY are not getting DELETED,and i cant view my stored videos

The Sansa's firmware creates folders for its own purposes. You shouldn't attempt to delete them. If you created them yourself, just delete them with Windows Explorer.

Regarding your stored videos, are they in the "VIDEO" folder? Are you sure they are in the right format? If you're not sure whether they're in the right format, copy them back to your PC's disk (if they're not there already), and use the Sansa Media Converter.

Cant get passed recovery mode

this came from another post on fix ya.

For me the solution was this:
After entering the recovery mode (turn off the player, move the hold button to the right, and press the on and rec button, then connecting to the computer).
when the 16 mb folder opens create a NEW FOLDER (not a text document) called "Sansa.fmt". then disconec the usb and it was fixed.

You may have changed the mode on he device. Napster only work with the device in MTP / Rhapsody Mode. If thats not it, check to see if the firmware can be updated. Firmware Update http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 Best of Luck.
