Welcome

You said, your washer will not power up . Even the lights on the display panel are not turning on . And you have checked that the power outlet works.

Did you unplug the washer for 5 minutes and then plug it back in?

This can resets the system.

How old is the washer?

Did you have the power off for 5 minutes or out and in?
At 14 months and you are only 2 months past your warranty?
    It's a Kenmore?
Go in person to the store and ask for the appliance manager.
Ask him if he can do anything! HE CAN
Tell him you are astounded by the poor quality of their product.

That you have already picked out your Kenmore elite stainless steel kitchen
And have the loan to remodel your kitchen,BUT you will not do so till they stand by their product!
If he does not help, ask for the store manager!
He can do what ever it takes to remedy the problem. HE HAS THE POWER!

I do this for my customers sometimes when they do not know how!
Just be sweet, friendly, and nice. No anger or emotion except for how wonderful they are to help you!
    SHMOOOOS them.
This is the easy and cost free remedy. It Does Work.
Today it's easier to keep the customers you have than to find new ones.

Just be persistent and do not leave until you get satisfaction even if you sit down and tell them , "I'm not leaving!" "You can get me arrested at closing time but I'm not leaving!"
Still being and talking very sweet and calm. This is the ticket!
I promise you I HAVE DONE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me know how well it works. Huuum

Amana front loading washer won't run after power outage. Panle does light up.

Possible that the program controller unit has failed if there is no display or power in the indication. You will need to remove panel to check on the fuse and if the new fuse fails it is possible there are error or hardware failure within the board.
Please remove and check the power panel for shorted drive, rectifier or capacitor, if not the panel must be replaced.

E10 code on my kenmore front loading washer

This can mean 1 or 2 things

No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.

Or
If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.

If there is no water in the unit:
1. Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
3. Verify inlet valve operation

  • If there is water in the unit:
    1. Verify Drain pump operation
    2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
  • Verify there is not a siphon problem
  • Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check all hoses for possible leaks
  • Verify pressure switch operation
  • Verify flow meter operation
  • Verify CCU operation
OR it could mean

Motor Control Unit (MCU) Heat Sink Thermal Trip
If the thermal protector on the MCU heat sink gets too hot, it will open the thermal protector on the heat sink which will stop motor functions and an "E10" will be displayed
  • Check for Proper Installation, verify the unit is not located near a source of heat and has proper ventilation.
  • Check Wire Harness connectors to the MCU, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check the Drive system for any worn or failed components
  • Check MCU
  • Check Motor

Everything seems to work, door locks, but water won't flow

Check the water solenoid valve, it may have failed. A quick test is to use hot wash rather than cold wash. If the hot water works, then your cold water valve has failed.

LG Washer wont start, no power

Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

Lights on Washer Machine flash but Washer doesn't work

Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:

* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.

Washing machine seems to quit at random and flashes F-01 messege. Seems like a control problem more than mechanical?

F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.

The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.

The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

http://media.fotki.com/1_p,wkwdftgtbkdgfrwxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/ksrttqdqrxkssrqtgsd/1/1303472/5961857/image12917img-or.jpg

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.

The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

F01 and add a garment light on

Check the pump first but you most in likley have a bad circut board. On the front of the washer their is a kick panel. Remove the 3 screws on the bottom and remove it. Taped on the inside is a book of codes and some self diagnostics you can run. This is all your repairman will do and he will order the circut board and charge you more than the washer is worth.

F2 flashing on display screen washer won't continue cycle????

This means that the drain time has exceeded 8 minutes and the water valves have turned off. After 4 minutes the suds error is displayed then 4 minutes later the F2 error.
Potential causes
1.Check drain hose for kinks or cloggs
2.Check electrical connection at the pump and make sure the pump runs.
3.Check inside of pump for foreign objects
4.If none of the above fixes the machine replace the pump.
