Telex HT-100 with TE-10 head pulled off

Someone thought they were changing the battery in the HT-100 and unscrewed the head and pulled the green and black wires off the microphone. I can sloder them back on, but I can't determe where they belong.

  • Anonymous Dec 28, 2011

On the circuit board inside the microphone there is a large "ground" area that is labeled -OUT. There is a large solder spot on it and I believe this is where the black wire probably goes. There is another solder spot just oposite of the compandor in/out switch that may be where the green wire goes. If anyone could confirm this for me I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Telex HT-100 with TE-10 head pulled off - 724ad609-7aa4-403c-beb1-0ee8eacb80d3.jpg
I realize that this question was asked in December of 2011, but I just now found this question on this website today.

Here's a picture that I took of the Telex HT-100 wireless microphone transmitter that I have showing the wiring on the circuit board.

The green wire gets soldered to the lead of the 10 Megohm resistor that you can see in the picture.

Telex ht200 is fatter microphone and I am looking for a microphone clip to mount it on a microphone stand. Universal clips are too skinny - they will not fit around the mic. Does anyone know where I cn get...

Here you go. I would use something like this. This has a 1.75" (44mm) diameter. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/298898-REG/WindTech_MC_4_MC4_Extra_Large_Heavy_Duty_Microphone.html
You can also go here http://www.crossroadsaudio.com/Rentals%20Catalog.pdf scroll down to page 5 and you can use this - $15.00 Telex ELM-22S Black Lapel Mic, Shure TA4F w/ Mic Clip -- That clip is the same diameter as your mic and is made by Telex.

I dont know how to change te bolb

Open the door to the dryer. Look directly in the back of the dryer, and you should see a rectangular cover with a phillips head screw. Before you begin, first unplug the cord from the wall. Then, unscrew the cover and remove it. Unscrew the bulb, and then replace it with the new bulb. It should be a 10 watt appliance bulb. But double check the old one, before you buy the new one. If there's no info. on the old one, then get the 10 watt bulb. If this works for you, great! If not, feel free to contact me back. Good Luck!

Hi..
The rim is "ground" or the (-) side of the mic.
Find out which wire goes to ground or a (-) on a battery.
Solder that one back to the rim
