Hi Donald, Asko D3120 pump motor runs non stop.

Hi Donald, Asko D3120 pump motor runs non stop. Pulling CB is the only way to stop it. The door control panel has no effect and does not seem to function properly. Thanks, Pete

Seems to be the fault with the control panel as it is possible that the drive relay stays triggered as soon as the power is switched on. All you need to is to remove the panel and check for a short in the power line output to the pump motor. Please check this link for tips to remove; Check how to remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html Use a multi-meter without which you will not be able to confirm the case. DO NOT BUY A NEW BOARD unless you have tested the board to confirm if the processor has failed or if this is a SCR or relay then it can be replaced.I would suggest that if there is a similar model with any contact or even from the service center where it can be swapped and tested or even tested on bench by simulation if you are familiar with the input connections. If none of the functions work then it is possible that the motherboard is faulty. Take estimate and decide.Compliments of the season.

Asko d3120 flashing coffee cup

I had to slide the dishwasher forward (undercounter installation)and tip it forward as far as possible. Water leaks onto floor, but then the internal controller seems to reset and the ASKO now works normally again. What kind of idiot would design a control module that does not incorporate a power-off interlock? FAIL FAIL FAIL - Bad, ASKO, Bad. Go to your room.

Doesn't shut off

i think you are hearing the drain pump going. take the bottom front panel off so as to expose the bottom tray. yoy willprobably find this full of water. mop water out and it should work. if fault reoccurs then you have a leak.
turn power off first

ASKO Overfill protection tripped

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.

ASKO Overfill protection tripped

Ok, heres what you have to do. Remove the lower toe kick and then remove the panel behind that to gain entry to the lower portion of the dishwasher wher the guts are. You will also have to pull out the little brackets that hold the toe kick and all the screws will be t-15 or t-20 torx (little star shaped bits) Once you have all the panels out of the way, you will find water in the bottom of the tray there tripping the overflow switch. Remove the water with a wet vac or towel or something and the drain pump will stop running. If you can't or don't want to do all this, then just let the dishwasher sit for a few days or so and eventually the water will just evaporate and everything will work normally. Hope This Helps!
