Probably a faster shutter speed. You may also have to turn off autofocus.

Can I get user manual for Nikon MB-40 multi-power battery pack for F6 body?

I think the extent of the instructions is on the Nikon USA web site. Here it is

"The Nikon MB-40 Multi-Power Battery Pack accommodates eight AA (alkaline, lithium, or Ni-MH) batteries, or the Nikon EN-EL4 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery. The MS-40 Battery Holder comes with the MB-40. With the MB-40 attached, film can be advanced as fast as 8 fps.
When using the EN-EL4 battery, the Battery-Chamber Cover BL-3 must be used.
The MB-40 is also a vertical grip, and features a vertical grip shutter release, an AF start button, and Multi-selector and Command Dials for more comfortable and responsive shooting."

D700 shutter is sticking?? Changed battery, all the connections to lights are good ... any suggestions??

If the battery is good then this is most probably a faulty or dirty shutter. Unfortunately this will require it to be sent to nikon for repair.

My lawn lights stopped working, transformer tested ok. What could be the problem?

You checked that power pack is getting electricity.
Scratch a wire across both terminal screws and see if there is spark.
If a bulb burns out, and is not replaced, additional power can burn out other bulbs.
Power pack should be unplugged if bulbs are not burning since that can burn out power pack.
Change out a couple bulbs and then plug-in power pack.
Check connections where lights tie into wire.

My power pack was doing same thing, I bought another power pack from Home Depot to check my lights. All but 2 bulbs were burned out. I replaced bulbs and returned new power pack.. and then power pack quit for good a month later.

I found tips to preserve power packs:
1) Match wattage of bulbs with wattage of power pack
-15 each X 20 watt bulbs = 300 watts, so install 300Watt power pack
2) Installing a 500W power pack on 300W of bulbs will burn out bulbs and power pack.
3) Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out or other bulbs will burn out and power pack will burn out.
4) When working on bulbs, unplug power pack or it may burn out.

Why is my webcam 9000 doing 5 fps while it should do 30 fps? my workstation runs at 79mbps download and 75 mbps upload and it should do live webcam at 30fps but end up 5 fps with lot of pixels.

The main factors impacting fps are: CPU utilization, Power, and bandwidth. This webcam fps site describes the factors influencing fps, suggests what you can do to improve it, and provides a free method of testing it.

Nikon d700 error message

Have you tried cleaning the contacts on the lens with alchoho and a cotton swab? The DX lens will have to tell the camera that it's not a full frame lens, and that happens through those contacts.

Post a comment if that won't work and we can go into more troubleshooting.
