most top loader flint collectors are in the top of the agitator where you put in the comforter fabric softener. Pull this section up and the lint sock will be at the bottom of it

I don't think the problem lies with the dryer, I would suspect the washer has mold, this is especially true on front load washer, they make products designed just for this problem, check with a large retailer, not sure who makes the mold and mildew remover, I think Home Depot or Lowes may have the product or know about it..

Our laundry room is in the center of the house and the dryer vent runs underneath the house and every 6 months or so we have to run a plumbing snake all the way through the vent pipe. Once it all the way through the house we then tie a rope to the end of it with a huge knot tied into it, we then snake the rope through the pipe and it pulls out all the lint that has collected inside, someone at each end of the rope (make sure it's long enough) and run it back and forth until no more lint is collected. I hope this might help you.

below the lint trap is a sensor, clean it off gently as not to damage it, this will fix the problem

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have not taken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then you need to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should take place. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causes for your dryer to fail.

Is the dryer tumbling? If not, you may have a broken belt or some other drive assembly issue.

Also, turn the dryer on and go outside to the vent discharge - you should feel air coming out at a pretty good clip. If not, the vent line is obstructed and will need to be cleaned out.

sounds like you need to clean out dryer and blow out the vent line,go outside and make sure the duct isn't blocked or clogged with lint

Take you vent off and remove the restrictions. How about a few repair pix?

Most likely your outlet filter of the machine is choked with dirt or something; clean out the filter & refit. Of course after taking of the wall plug & siphoning out the water from washer.
