Hello, my 19 inch just died on me and when i go to press power it lights up on the led but nothing on the screen. When it first happend benq logo would come up and go very quickly. Since then i took it apart and looked at the internal parts and i couldnt see no physical wear or damage. So I couldnt find anything but when i put it back together the logo does not even show.
Now I need help because i do not know what the problem may be. I am thinking its the bel 3a fuse but would have no idea. Or it also could be one of the 6 transistors.
If anyone would please help me out it would be greatly apreciated.

Hello there, first thing you should do is to check the power cable. You can do that by changing it with PC power supply cable .It is the same. If it turns to be OK then disconnect the VGA cable from monitor and then try to power monitor on.There should be an activity on front power LED. If the power LED is not showing any light at all, then do not go further the unit is not working .Else the power led should blink a couple of times then a window pop up scrolling on the lcd saying :" no video signal" so the unit is OK ..Hope this helps. Cheers.
Is there a LED light on any part of the screen after you power it on?
1) If there is, try replacing the VGA/DVI cable (cable from PC to monitor). If nothing shows up, it means there is a hardware defect and you will need to send it in for warranty or repair.
2) If there is no LED light to begin with, replace the power cable and try it again.
Still no light - repair/replace it.
If LED appears - See Number 1)
Since the power led button is on, the problem with your monitor is the that the picture board of your monitor has develop fault, that is why it tries to show your desktop and quickly fades away.
The picture board of your monitor is bad and will
need to be replaced in other for it to display.
The best thing
for you to do is to take your monitor to a local repairer or any service
center within your vicinity to help with the replacement of your
picture board because the fault is not something you can fix on your own
in other not to complicate issues.
This type of issues is caused by parts called capacitors that have failed and are keeping the power supply from starting up correctly. You can rebuild the power supply board by replacing the bad capacitors and this will bring the monitor back to full working order. Here is a link to information showing what parts need to be replaced with pictures and parts list.
