    Thank You.

Are you sure it isn't the one in the warming drawer? Reminder that it said "WD Sensor Open"

Wouldn't the wd stand for warming drawer?

Where can I find a part for the cheapest price?

Do you know how old my unit is?

@DocJohn - but if it says "WD Sensor Open," isn't it possible that the Door and latch switches do not agree (i.e. door open latch closed) and that maybe just checking the alignment might be the first place to start? Just thinking out loud.

I have a ge range jmp28got1w1 i was getting a f2 code i replaced the oven sensor iturned on the oven to 400 degrees and within 3 4 minutes i got a f3 code can you help?

Hi

F2/F3 Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Things work,keep getting a F2 reading and a constant beep, HELP jbp35bhwh

· Look for welded relay contacts. (Heating elements on in off mode).
· Look for open thermal switch in lock motor circuit. Switch is normally closed and will open if area overheats due to fan not operating. Look for cause - fan thermal switch not closing, fan stalled, etc.
· Look for high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit due to high contact resistance (poor terminal crimp, deformed terminals, loose connection) or intermittent solder joint on control or intermittent oven temperature sensor.
· Look for electrical noise interference in the oven temperature sensor circuit (Ham radio, cordless phone, etc.).

Error message E0 F2

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F2 error code indicates a open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you wan to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

F3 error on magic chef electrical range

Hi glrecu,

The F3 fault code description is a shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD). Please check the sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.
