I reinstalled my hardrive in my dell inspirion 1525 laptop, i put in the operating disc, it loaded windows xp but i dont have any sound nor do i hve internet and i have a wireless network already set up in...

hello

when you purchased yourt dell system, you would have received two or three CD set (recovery set with multimedia and WinXP-OS). in this case you've al;ready installed the OS -- all you need to do now is , install your multimedia -- i am sure your video is not proper eithet, correct -- it shows low resolution (oversized images and large icons and alphanumeric lettering)
this is why you need the MULTIMEDIA install CD. Insert the multimdeia CD and restart the system, press F2 and select install from CD. This will install your video and audio drivers.
if you do not have this , call Dell to get this or you can go to www.dell.com, insert your service tag on the dell website -- (service tag # is located on back of your notebook), and download the various drivers from the dell site , audio, video, BIOS, network, etc...
it is a fairly simple process, but takes quite a bit of time to complete full install.

please send me 4 thumbs up to avail my technical assistance to you

Your laptop is not an acer.
Your laptop is an Averatec 4200 manufactured by TriGem of Korea.

Missing drivers after reinstall

Yes :c)

Go here and select the type of notebook you have, whether it's an intel processor or an AMD processor. Follow the links to download your audio, network video, and wireless adapters as well as the motherboard drivers. Run each download and it will tell you step by step on how to install the manual ones and most of them will install automatically.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
