This is the wiring diagram for it, I would suggest you buy a factory plug, it eliminates all the wiring and trying to figure out which wires go where. Go to a local stereo store and ask for a plug for your model numbered stereo, corresponding with the make, model and year of your vehicle. Their usually around $30

SOURCE: Just installed jvc kd-s16 and it loses power after

Connect Yellow to Battery (always 12V), red to ignition, and black to ground. Disconnect all others. Check it. If the radio stays on and plays CD, then radio is good. You may check other wiring

SOURCE: need to wire JVC model KD-G340 into a 97 Kia Sephia

Do not cut the wires from the car. Instead, call Crutchfield at 888-955-6000 and order the adapter part number 120701003. When you call them, ask for color coding. For JVC, refer to the attached picture. Match the adapter color code with that of JVC. If the adapter color code is the same, then connect ground (black), battery (yellow), and wire from ignition switch (red) securely. Turn on the car and see the radio works. If it works, connect one by one speakers and confirm. Remember, perfect connection gives reliable installation.

Steering wheel controls

JVC radio doesn't work directly with car's steering wheel control. You need an adapter. Metraonlie.com offers pretty reliable ones.

Installing a KD-R530 in a 1995 volvo 940

Your best bet is to go to a location that sells install kits and purchase one. Otherwise you have to figure out what lines match up to what lines on your own. One bad connection and you can fry your reciever.

How to install a jvc stereo kd-g230 in a chevy trailblazer 2002

First you need to get a wire harness for the Chevy (check Ebay) then follow the wiring instruction inside the package on how to join the spliced wires togother. After joining the wires togother plug the harness in and stuck the JVC into the recess where the old stereo was and thats it, it should play if not you don`t have a good ground, ground the body to the frame.
