Clyde, make sure your hose is attached to suction side of vacuum. If over full or over full of bubbles in the waste section of vacuum this can happen or if the vacuum itself has become plugged possibly.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Dysin vacuum blows air instead of sucking it!

If it is blowing air, then it is still clogged up somewhere, you didn't give your model number, but some of these have removable covers on each side and on the back. Also make sure that all covers are back on securely.

Most vacuums are make to suck not blow. Except for the Rainbows or Rexair vacuums. They have a port for blowing air.
