Check your HDMI (looks like USB connetion) Connection or your Composite video connection (yellow, red, white connections.) Make sure they are correct and tight on both your TV and PS3.
Most common connection to use 1st is the Composite video connetions.
Yellow is your Video display; Red and White are your Sound!

Reset the video settings by turning on the ps with only the power cable plugged in, when turning on continue to hold the power button until you hear a second set of beeps then turn off the console.
Boot up the ps and plug in your av/hdmi cable and you should have picture and sound.
Ok this should problebly work if the ps3 is on but the red light is on(NOT GREEN) hold your finger on the on button untill is turns red again do the same but this time there will be a beeping sound and a nother one but the 2 one will make 2 sounds nou take your finger of a screen will apear say restore system about 2 times and that should work but plzzz rate me......I think this will work.
