- All of the sudden, my 2 year old rebel xt started coming up with err 99 readings, won't focus properly, and will not take pics. I am so bummed! I had my camera in for repair on another issue, and it took MONTHS to get it back too. Not a very helpful company for a problem that has a "name", but no fix. If I turn the cam on & off a few times, it might take 1 phot, then err99 again. What a drag!- beausephine
