Zonet web site is flagged as a bad site so don't bother with an amateur web site like that Chinese embarrasment. Here is a link to other zonet users' solutions with real people sharing real set up parameters. Stevehttp://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16881153004

What is the wep password

The encryption key secures your data from unauthorized access.
The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router.

Cannot connect to the internet on the Toshiba Netbook. Has very strong network signal.

Hi,

Troubleshoot the issue by identifying the ip address that your computer has. May it be wireless or local area connection. Check IP Address thru command prompt or DOS.
· press <windows key>+<R>
· type "cmd"
· press ok button. a black box will appear
· type "ipconfig /all" then press enter key
· locate wireless connection and local area connection group by scrolling up/down.

NOTE: ignore highlighted physical address.

If the ip address is 169.xxx.xxx.xxx, this is an invalid ip address. Contact Internet Service Provider. If the ip address is 192.xxx.xxx.xxx, click start and open control panel. then open internet options. click on connections tab. click on lan settings. Make sure no tick box checked. All set your anti virus' firewall settings to default. Then try browsing.

I hope this works for you. KINDLY REPLY IF FURTHER ASSISTANCE NEEDED. Good Luck!

I cannot get my laptop hooked up to the broadband internet..

ok well it is quite easy first of all you have to set up a network by telling the computer what you want to do .. but first check your lan card is working and enabled , or if it is by telephone dial up that your modem is installed .. we do this by going to start then , control panel then device manager on device manager you will see variuos devices with a + by the side of them .. select network adapters and click the + and the box will open you will see your installed devices.. if any have a question mark or an arrow then there is a problem if not all is ok just come out and we will continue .. Create a local area network

you can get a HP x175 printserver. (not expensive.) and connected it between the printer and the router. that way you don't have to have the desktop on all the time.

Laptop cant connect wirelessly

Hey Charlie, If you re-installed your operating system you will need to get the wireless modem driver from your dell disk. For some reason they have not included the drivers in the windows software. If you can't find it then you can go on to the Dell site(obviously on another computer) and enter your service tag and get your drivers that way.

I hope this helps
