Question about Canon MultiPASS C555 InkJet Printer
I have a C555 and print only in black & white.
Can I do something to avoid to have to replace the color cartridge that I don't use but which keep drying?
- is there a way to disable the color cartridge check?
- could I replace the B&W and Color Cartridge by a bigger B&W only cartridge?
Don't know why the tech guy above didn't mention this but you can install a BC-20 which is a large all black ink cartridge that lasts multiple times longer than the puny BCI-21.

You could remove the color cartridge altogether, or just select "Print in grey scale" from the printer properties box.
