Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera
My shutter will not open
Do you mean the outer lens covers that open and close when you turn the camera on and off, or do you mean the aperture inside the lens that adjusts the amount of light that gets through?
The outer lens covers can usually be repaired if you can get the parts, or you can try taking it apart, cleaning it and then put it back together.
If it's the aperture then you can maybe repair the lens by tearing it down and rebuilding it, or you can replace it yourself or have somebody replace it for you.
We are a digital camera repair shop, we have W55 lens repair listed in our store for only $65 if you're interested just let us know.
