Image Hi. I have a Toshiba Qosmio G20 and i have a problem going thru the desktop. When i turn the laptop on, i can only see the Qosmio name and some brown rpints, after that a gray weird image appears and nothing else. Is it a virus or my laptop is broken?

QOSMIO G20 CPU 100%

Give this a try you probably have a mbr virus.

Download The following iso listed below. It is the latest version of the Kaspersky rescue disk. You need to burn it to a CD with a program like Imgburn (Which is also FREE like the iso file). Then you need to boot from the CD and run the scanner. It should fix you right up.

Hi I need Service Manual (Repair) for Qosmio X5O5-Q850 I WILL BE HAPPY TO PURCHASE IT TOSHIBA WILL NOT SELL IT Best regard H.L

No need to purchase anything, t1lavih.

Here you go,

http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/#toc-toshiba

I would like you to go down to the line that begins with Qosmio, and click on X500.
The Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850 is part of the Qosmio X500 series of Notebook PC's.

This is a PDF file.
You may have to allow up to 30 seconds to see the first page, and additional time for the file to fully download.
You will be only viewing it. If you wish to save it to your computer, and do not know how, please state so in a Comment, and I'll be happy to lead you through it.

This way you can then burn it off to CD disk for safekeeping, and delete it from your computer to save harddrive space.

I would also like to include this,

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Qosmio-X305/laptop-disassembly-1.htm

Not your laptop, but I thought the pictorial guide may help.

ALWAYS remember to follow Anti-Static Precautions.

If you have further questions please state in a Comment.
Regards,
joecoolvette

Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q705 Laptop screen yellow

It is not a driver or video card problem. It is the monitor.

To be sure plug a full size desktop monitor into your laptops monitor jack. Every laptop has one. If the picture doesn't turn yellow that will confirm that your LCD is bad.

It's a hardware fault, you will normally notice if you push on the screen at the top of the line it will disappear, unfortunately you will have to replace the screen.

My daughter loaded an "Eco Disk" DVD into the slot loading DVD drive in her Toshiba Qosmio G20 laptop and cannot get it to eject the disc. Is it possible to get it out without dismantling either...

There is a small hole on the outside of the drive. Take the end of a paper clip or something smaller if the clip is too big and push it into that hole. This is the emergency release. The drive should open and allow you to remove the disc. If this solves your problem please rate this as fixed. If not, don't rate yet. Just add a comment and I'll be glad to help you further. Thanks.
