Hi! Sorry for the delayed response, I deciced to stay away from my computer this weekend (",).

Before we proceed installing the driver/software of your wireless adapter, we will first make sure that your wireless adapter is still detected as a hardware in your computer. IF it won't be detected as a hardware already inside your laptop, then there is no point in installing the software or driver for it.

As what you have said in your previous post that the wireless adapter does not show up under Network Adapters, and you cannot see the word "Other Devices" in Device Manager chances are it's already defective (the wireless adapter only). But let's try everything we can to resolve this.

Try to manually install the hardware:

Go to Control Panel > select Add Hardware. A window will pop up (Add Hardware wizard) , click Next.

The Add Hardware wizard will detect any hardware installed on the computer, if it detects your wireless adapter follow the prompts to install thed driver. After that , it should be able to detect a wireless network. Again, make sure that the wireless switch in your laptop is ON.

Now, if it does not detect your wireless adapter, you will select the YES option under Add Hardware wizard to inform it that the wireless adapter is indeed already connected to your laptop. Follow the prompt and hopefull it will work.

Please try it first. Let me know the results.

By the way, how long have you been using the laptop? Is it still under warranty?

Good luck and have a nice day!

there are three levels of switches for this model

one is mechanical on side or front..check..

one is the network connections enable switch..control panel accessible...check..

third on is the repair this connection, bottom right on tray..right click to repair...check..

try that on for size
