Hi I can not start my i phone 3gs 8gb it appears only an apple on screen but doesn't go any further its an unlocked i phone and i used it before for almost 45 days please help me out

Hi it sounds to me like the firmware needs resetting and re-installing did you use software to have it unlocked as this may have caused the problem you are having some times the software messes up the firmware and you get the problem you are having with it freezing on start up.

try taking the battery out and leaving it out for an hour and see if it will work after this time, if it still wont work then your going to need to take it into a phone shop to have the latest firmware installed on the phone.

this will wipe the phone and erase all your details so if you can back this up on your computer then do that first as it will be totally reset like it was when new.

its the only option you have so unless taking the battery out allows it to reset and get it working then your going to need to take it to a phone shop to get it sorted.

the cheapest place to have this done is one of those small independent phone shops as the big branded shops will have to send it off and you will be charged for this and without a phone for a couple of weeks.
a small independent shop will do the firmware their and then and should be able to do it whilst you wait or the next day at the latest depending on how busy they are.

this is worth getting done and wont cost to much as its only really a software update,

please let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Cannot turn on my k850i phone the keypad light and the camera light are the only one turned on.

Hi, my phone was the same. I tried re-installing the firmware with the SE software and it said it was already the latest and wouldn't re-install. I downloaded software WotanClient2 from http://www.wotanserver.com/en/, installed it and followed instructions re-installing firmware on the phone. Cost 7 Euro for 1 credit to do so - but it worked! Hope it works for you. Cheers.

IPAQ PDA

Go to the HP.com site and get the latest firmware upgrade for your IPAQ. If you already have the latest firmware then you can probably try a hard reset which will wipe out all your files then see if it performs better from a factory reset. If it doesnt improve then theres nothing much you can do but send it to the professionals for servicing or get a new phone.
