Macromedia projector error when playing games downloaded from disc?

After installing a game, ie Hidden Expedition Everest, I can play for about 5 minutes or less and then I get this error that says: macromedia projector has incurred a problem and needs to shut down. At the bottom of the box it gives option to send a report or not and then it closes the program. What can I do to solve this issue in order to play games that I have purchased.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is macromedia flash player necessary for opening of html files?

It's not necessary to have Flash to open an HTML file, that's the browser's job. But if there's Flash content on the page, it won't play without Flash installed. You'll probably see a placeholder image where the content would be displayed, and may see an error message.

Macromedia projector not working

Right click on the desktop shortcut to the game, go to "Property", click on the "Compatiblity" tab and put a check in "Run this program in compatiblity mode for:, now try all the choices in the drop-down box (win95, win98/win me,etc. etc) one at a time 'til it works. Mine worked when I selected Windows Nt 4.0 service pack 5.

Macromedia projector error

I had the "macromedia projector" error with the CSI game. This worked for me:

1). Open “QuickTime Preferences” (right-click the “QuickTime” Q icon in lower right corner of Windows taskbar).

2). From “Browser Plug-in” tab, click the button labelled “MIME Settings…” then click “Use Defaults” and hit “Ok”.

3). Now go to “Video Settings” tab and choose “Safe Mode (GDI only)”. (Note: QuickTime versions 7 and above, make sure “Enable Playback of Adobe Flash tracks” is also checked).

You should now be able to run the game without errors, good luck.

Here's what you can do:

1. Close all browser screens.
2. Go to Start -> Run and type: appwiz.cpl
3. Locate "Flash Player ActiveX" or something similar.
4. Uninstall it using the buttons on the right.
5. Click here to obtain the newest Flash Player from Adobe.com.
6. When the install is completed, start the browser again and try
playing your game again.

I hope this helps, please rate.
