My notebook sound is not working.. plzz solve my prob

if your sound was working before do a system restore back to the point when it was working.click, start then hover over programs then go to accessories then system tools, click system restore and pick restore my computer to an earlier time pick a date in bold numbers (ie the date it was working) or before then restore. if this does not work go to this site for a sound driver but only if restore does not solve the problem you dont want conflicting sound drivers http://www.filehippo.com/download_realtek_ac97/

I HAVE PROBLEM IN MY COMPUTER BAD DIRECT SOUND DR...

reinstall the sound driver ..you probably have it on the motherboard driver 's cd if the sound card is an on board one...if not just look for the driver cd ...If you do not have it .than you should open and see the manufacturer and name ..than search on google the name of the manufacturer and the word support near it ..and will guide you on the site where the developer has the download support for the products..select the product by name ..and the operation system you use..and download the latest driver for the sound card ..after installing into the computer restart and when you open the player the direct bad sound driver error will be no more and the sound will be on ..
if you know that you didnt uninstall it by mistake or in purpose ...you can even try a system restore..and get to an earlier date when the driver was on and functional..for that just open the all programs from start ..accessories..system tools system restore..
choose to restore to an earlier date ...choose a highlighted date from the tab ..and proceed..If there are no errors this will make it functional..if you choose a date when all was working..

Try taking the computer back in time.

Start > Help and Support > Undo changes to your computer with System Restore > Restore my computer to an earlier time > select a date prior to when the sound quit working

Sound gone after installing Logitech Webcam and downloading Skype

You might want to take your computer back in time.

Start > Help and Support > Undo changes to your computer with System Restore > Restore my computer to an earlier time > select a date that is before your installation of the Logitech device, and follow instructions from there.

You will not lose any data, but programs installed after your selected date will have to be re-installed.

Hey

You should restore your computer to a date when everything was working fine.

To do the same Click start>All Programs>Accessories>system Tools>System Restore

Select restore my computer to an earlier date> Click Next

Select a date when it was working fine and restore it.

Note: All software changes made after the selected date will be undone as well. For Ex. If you installed a new software or game,,,

I am sure this will work for you.

Please rate the solution.

All the best

No sound or add and remove programme

Go to Start, Program, Accessories, System Tools, and select System Restore. Choose a date you know when you had sound and your Add/Remove Programs showed up in the Control Panel. If restoring your computer to a earlier date the first time try several dates. Finally if none of the dates work, than you will probable have to reformat your computer.
