Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner
I have two AC's on the Rv the aft one when run for 3-4 days will leak water into the AC ducts. The drains are clear at the AC. The forward one run continuously with no problem.
Check freeze sensor should be plugged into coil then air box cannot mix intake and cold air if all ok low on Freon cannot refill

I am not en expert at RV A/C units. I have worked on a couple before. There should be a reservoir somewhere under the evaporator coil(looks kind of like a radiator in a car but much smaller). It should have a hose or something to drain it away from the a/c unit. These very often become plugged on any kind of A/C unit. However if you choose to do this on your own, you will have to climb on top of the RV and remove the cover from the a/c unit to do this. It might be safer to take it to an RV repair shop.

SOURCE: duo therm ac problem
Yes they are a closed system, and most places don't want to be bothered with cutiing the line, soldering in a fitting for refill, and then find out there is a big leak somewhere, that can't be detected until you waste the freon etc. Have you owned the RV since new, and are sure it did work good before? Have you tested the temperature difference ? For example, they are really only designed to remove moisture from the inside air, as well as cool the inside air (ambient) to about 20 degreesF, below the outside temperature. Has the condensor coils/fins & evaporator coils/fins, been thoroughly cleaned recently? If they are plugged, it can significantly reduce cooling ability of the unit.
