SOURCE: DUO THERM Model 57915.622 runs and cools fine, but why does it drip water inside on the floor?

I am not en expert at RV A/C units. I have worked on a couple before. There should be a reservoir somewhere under the evaporator coil(looks kind of like a radiator in a car but much smaller). It should have a hose or something to drain it away from the a/c unit. These very often become plugged on any kind of A/C unit. However if you choose to do this on your own, you will have to climb on top of the RV and remove the cover from the a/c unit to do this. It might be safer to take it to an RV repair shop.

SOURCE: duo therm ac problem

Yes they are a closed system, and most places don't want to be bothered with cutiing the line, soldering in a fitting for refill, and then find out there is a big leak somewhere, that can't be detected until you waste the freon etc. Have you owned the RV since new, and are sure it did work good before? Have you tested the temperature difference ? For example, they are really only designed to remove moisture from the inside air, as well as cool the inside air (ambient) to about 20 degreesF, below the outside temperature. Has the condensor coils/fins & evaporator coils/fins, been thoroughly cleaned recently? If they are plugged, it can significantly reduce cooling ability of the unit.

RV AC is working fine, but the water is leaking from the ceiling Where is the drain tube on the unit, The AC unit is a roof type, Duo Therm serial # 43404934, Part # 3105459

Normally, the condensate will drain out of the unit onto the roof and off the edge to the ground. Remove your cover inside (probably 2 screws) and tighten the 4 bolts you will find inside. If they are tight, go to your RV supply place and get new roof gasket. Remove the AC and insert the new gasket and resecure the AC to your roof.

My Duo Therm Part # 3106481 about 10 years old cools okay but puts water in the duct system.

It sounds like either the condesate drain pan has a leak in it or more likely the drain outlet is plugged. Take the cover off the unit to where you can see the drain pan and if it is full of water then uou can try to blow it out with air or run a small diameter wire thru it. If you can get it open then clean coils as well as you can and pour a quart of water into the pan that has about a 1/4 cup of bleach mixed in with it. The bleach will kill off algea and other substances that may be plugging the drain. Thank you and good luck.

The Duo-Therm AC in the motorhome has started leaking from the inside after approx. 1/2 hour of use. What could be the problem?

More than likely water is pooling on top of the rv and leaking thru a crack next to the unit. The other problem would be the drain hole is plugged you will have to remove the top to ck. good luck

Duo Therm dripping water in camper when shut off. My Dometic Duo Therm Ducted AC drips quite a bit of water when shut off after running for several hours on hot humid days. The condensate lines are open....

Remove the filter at ceiling and run the AC on cool etc, and see if you can feel cool air leaking across to return air inlet where the divider between cold and return is. Check along all edges, etc for any cool air . Careful of wiring, but you should be able to get hand in there and feel especially around the edges where it should be sealed tight. Quite often a leak in that area causes cold air to enter return air and causes excessive condensation. Another thing to check is look way up inside opening for return air, with a flashlight and see if any dirt/dust on coils and fins of evaporator, and if so, needs to be cleaned off with a vacuum, and brush attachment. Let me know what you find.
