I have a similar problem. I downloaded a bunch of new songs and everything seemed to be working fine. I had missed a few CD's I wanted so I went to add those as well and everything seemed to be working, still had my cable plugged in because it said it was charging, however it appears that it had drained the battery not charged it and now mine won't turn off...or do anything else. It is stuck on the "music" screen, any ideas??

ok i've had problems with it before but this one's annoying, anytime i
try to jack in the usb into the mp4 to charge it, its not being
recognized by the pc, i thought it would help if i changed the outlet
(usb) and i did and still no juice, i restarted the pc and same problem
so now i've a dead mp4 can't put music on it and it just sucks..........

now could it be that i have an windows xp pc & i used a windows
vista pc to downlod music once cuz that's when the problem started

    Or is it something else??
    an acquired virus or.............

Help me please. thank you. XD

I didn't have a problem accessing the flash memory of my Coby mp4 until I upgraded to Media Player 11. Now it recognizes the coby for what it is, but I can't explore the flash memory like I used to. It used to recognize it as another drive, now it shows up as a portable media device. Do I have to go back to MP10 to get it back or is there another way?

Coby MP-610 MP3 Player froze up wont turn off or connect to my computer

If it just froze up, there's a reset button at the back/bottom, I used a staple if a paperclip isnt available. The reset button did nothing to solve my problem of only getting a screen showing "COBY" but maybe it'll help you.

Coby mp-c7095 mp3 player will not charge was working but not now

I bought a Coby mp-c7095 and could not get it to turnon. I charged the battery for more then 24 hours and it still would not turnon.

The problem was easily fixed. The red battery wire was pinched during assembly and shorted to the back cover. I put a small piece of tape over the bare wire and carefully reassembled the unit. Now it works great!
