SOURCE: mp3 player
Well Claudia, I'm unfamiliar with your MP3 player, but I find that if you meddle with it enough to get it to do what you want, you'll eventually get it right. Don't worry about breaking it, you won't do it at all by pushing buttons - just so long as you don't throw the MP3 player out of frustration ;) It's all very much trial and error. Some MP3 player instructions are awful. Good luck!

You can Format your device by using the Sansa Media Converter, Windows Media Player, or manually through "My Computer". Best and easiest way is through "My Computer".
Connect your player. Go to "My Computer" > right click "Sansa e200" > drop down to "Format".
Or do it on Windows Media Player. Connect the player and open up Windows Media Player. Go to the "Sync" tab. Click on the arrow underneath it. Drop down to "Sansa e280" and then to "Format". This can only been done in Windows Media Player 11.
Or go to format under one of the options of the Menu Bar on the Sansa Media Converter.
