Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: mp3 player

Well Claudia, I'm unfamiliar with your MP3 player, but I find that if you meddle with it enough to get it to do what you want, you'll eventually get it right. Don't worry about breaking it, you won't do it at all by pushing buttons - just so long as you don't throw the MP3 player out of frustration ;) It's all very much trial and error. Some MP3 player instructions are awful. Good luck!

SOURCE: FORMATTING PROCCES...DOES NOT WORK FOR ME HELP!!!

You can Format your device by using the Sansa Media Converter, Windows Media Player, or manually through "My Computer". Best and easiest way is through "My Computer".

Connect your player. Go to "My Computer" > right click "Sansa e200" > drop down to "Format".

Or do it on Windows Media Player. Connect the player and open up Windows Media Player. Go to the "Sync" tab. Click on the arrow underneath it. Drop down to "Sansa e280" and then to "Format". This can only been done in Windows Media Player 11.

Or go to format under one of the options of the Menu Bar on the Sansa Media Converter.

http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1468 How-to videos. Look under "Sansa MP3 Player" option 8. "Windows Media Player 11" option 9. For how-to methods provided by sandisk on formatting.

My sansa e260 keeps on telling me "refresh database fail" on the screen and it erased all my songs that i had on it.... please help

Please copy and paste the following link into your web browser address bar, and then click Go or hit your Enter key. When prompted, choose the option to Save the file to your Desktop.

http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/D...fw01.00.12.exe

Once you have downloaded the file, please follow these instructions.

1) Double click on "My Computer" so that you can see it on your screen.

2) Turn the player off.

3) On the top of the player is a Hold switch, move it to the right (toward the headphone jack) so you see Orange.

4) On the left hand side of the player is a "Record" button, press and hold it while connecting the player to the computer. Continue holding the Record button until you see a new icon under "My Computer" called 16MB FORMAT. Once you see that icon you may release the record button.

5) Double click the file you downloaded earlier and run it. Follow all of the on-screen instructions, and when you get to the prompt where it asks you whether you would like to format it, choose Yes. Once it is done, click finish.

6) Disconnect the player and look at the screen. Several things will be displayed, and when you see Key Lock, System Shutdown, move the Hold switch on the top back to the left.

7) Turn the player on and watch the screen. If you see a Refresh Database Fail error, you will need to follow steps 1-7 again until you do not get the error. If it does not work the first time, it could take up to 3 times for it to work.

hope this helps Kidromulous

Help !!! for my sanyo DMP-M600

You have the serial number in 2 places I know, one on the certificate and one on the mp3 player itself (it's where the tiny details are written: model no. , power source etc). Use the one written on the player if you've lost the certificate, or vice versa. Hope you'll be successful. I have the same player (Sanyo DMP-M600), so I think that'll help. Good Luck!
