ummm...same thing. the tv goes off by itself in two minutes. For no ryhme or reason,my stock remote just STOPPED working 2 days ago! I replaced the batteries... TWICE and still nothing. Is it possible the remote went bad? Durabrand codes are very difficult to find, only few codes are public, as this manufacturer is not listed on universal remotes user manuals. You can find few codes on discussion groups, often they do not work. The requests usually stay unanswered:

This will not affect cable TV users only people trying to recieve TV over the AIR UHF/VHF will be digital signals now and will require a special tuner to recieve them.
Most durabrands have Analog/Digital tuners but they are analog TV's.
Last time one of my durabrands did this I unplugged it for like 10 mins and gave it a nice kick to the side and it worked fine again. I know it sounds crazy but dont kick it too hard like dont crack plastic. I have also done this to oversurged CRT monitors
take your remote control and find the symbols shows watch click,then will show you the time setting if you want my be your tv to turn off 10 mn or 5mn or 60mn.then turn off the time there.

i once turned sleep mode on thinking i could turn it off but i cant or dont know how
