I have had my KDF-E60A20 for 2 1/2 years and it worked fine until today. Upon turning on the tv, there is a blank screen and the green power light blinks continuously for at least 2 to 3 minutes before staying on steady. When on, the screen shows multi-colored vertical lines. After a few miinutes the lines start slowly disappearing from left to right and we can see shadows. Is it the lamp?

Have a Sony LCD Projection HDTV. KDF-E50A10. Turned on the TV this afternoon and have color vertical lines filling the screen. Can barely see the satellite picture behind the lines and have sound.

Probably you need an optical block, but it would take a tech looking at it to be sure

This seems to be common problem with Sony projection tv. I have the KDF-E50A10 that lasted only 2 years. It's sitting in a corner now until I figure out what to do with it. I am not going to spend another grand to repair it!! Never Sony again.
