Hello,

First of all, please check the documentation that came with the PC. Usually the MotherBoard documentation will tell you how much memory and what type of the same could be installed.

If you don't have the documentation, open Start >> All Programs >> Accesories >> System Information.

Once you have the System Information, save it to your desktop and then share it with us. Based on this information we will be able to help you.

Best regards
Eduardo

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You can boot from a source other than your hard drive, a usb stick or a bootable cd. then use the format command to erase the hard drive. You are now good to give it away.

Philips iqon recovery cd

Its called, " iqonware iqon system recovery"...only available from iqon in dundalk (ireland)...if you go to there sales section you can see a picture of it, and you can click a button that says make a reservation for this product...and when you do you are then told a member of the sales team will contact you soon!
but there lies a problem....it appears the company went bust!
strange their website still operates really.
if youve formatted your entire hdd, you won't be able to use the F10 during boot up to recover your drive either...
only thing left ..purchase windows xp oem version (about (£65 i think).....

Centrex airconditioner

I bought a house with one already installed. Found that it isn't switching from 'hot' to 'cold' After time the unit will beep and flash LED's on the unit itself and then switch off. Rather handy on 40 degree days. Good luck sourcing parts for the unit as the company have gone bust. I do know an honest working fellow that installs units - he suggests that Kelvernator are a no go, Mitsubishi, Panasonic are the ones to look at. Pay the extra cash for a brand name, they're less likely to go bust for a start, and if there is a problem, parts are readily available.
