TOSHIBA W627 EJECT BUTTON NOT WORKING HELP!!!

I PUSH ON THE EJECT BUTTON AND ITS NOT WORKING THE MOVIE WONT COME OUT ANY OTHER WAY TO MAKE IT WORK?

I had the same problem with a Toshiba W602.
The tape was not reentering the cassette and I think that the VCR unit refused to eject it in fear that it would damage the tape. First I've tried to push POWER and then EJECT many times and it wouldn't work. I've opened the VCR and tried to pull the cassette out but it didn't work neither. Finally, I did what you said (unplugging the unit for a few minutes) then replugging it. It said AUTO on its display, I've pushed EJECT and it worked. However, the tape was still caught inside and I had to open the unit to untangle it. But it worked.

    Thanks.

Try turning the unit off at the mains (remove mains plug from the wall socket if possible) Leave for at least 5 minutes. This will reset all electrical components. Power up and try again. If you can hear the eject mechanism working, then it's likely that this has become faulty which is a common problem.

JVC HR-S9500 S-VHS VCR. all functions work except the eject on the vcr. there is no eject on the remote.it plays, ff, rew, stops etc. I can't get the tape out.

the eject button is a plastic piece that turns and pushes down on the board and is more then likely broken open the vcr take off the front face plate and check the button, it will propaply fall out. you can use super glue and glue the button back in place

Can't pin down the code for your model, so you will have to try these! Bear in mind that some codes could work some parts of the VCR but not all, so test all:
1004, 1023, 1038, 1175, 1176, 1188, 1190, 1191, 1200, and 1239.

Hooking VCR to DISH Network Reciever Box

In order to diagnose the problem I need your help.

Have you hooked the dish receiver directly into a tv or another device and had it working?

Have you tried a different cable at all?

Have you tried pressing the ant. button on the remote or tv/vcr button?

Please update me with as much info as possible and I will figure out where the problem is coming from. thanks

Is there a channel to go to when you want to watch from a dvd player?

The VCR will most likely see the DVD player on AV1 try and find a button marked "input" or "av" on either the universal remote or on the VCR itself.
