How do fit an internal speaker to a acer verition

It should clip onto what look like jumper leads on the motherboard, there may be a polarisation of the speakers so make sure you check that. Simply plug the connector onto the jumper leads for the speaker connector and bob is your uncle as they say

Acer how to setup sound on acer aspire pc

Typically modern computers have color-coded ports and leads. They may alternatively have tiny icon/picture symbols on them. You can match the colors of the ports to the wires of the speakers, etc., presuming you are still using the manufacturers provided speakers.

Trying to add speakers

The only way i can see of feeding two sets of speakers from the one pc would be to buy or make up a "splitter" audio lead .....i.e a 3.5mm stereo jack on one end connected to the pc with two lots of wiring going to 2 3.5 mm jacks. I don't know whether a store like Maplins would sell such a lead. Are you any good with a soldering iron??

I have a compaq computer and two external speakers which quit working. where do the wires for the speakers atach

Normally the lead which has a plug the same as a headphones plug goes into the green socket on the back or sometimes the front of the PC. The speakers should then already be joined together or have a lead that plugs one into the other.

Where do you put speaker lead to get sound for your pc

You find 2 or three audio Jack adapters at the back of your compute. Pink/red is microphone, blue is Aux, and Green is audio out.
You need to connect to the green one.

If there are no colors, test all the jacks.

No sound

turn your speakers up and moisten your finger. touch the jack plug that inserts into the pc, if you hear the speakers buzz/crackle then they are ok. If not I would try a new lead if possible, else speakers are u/s as if headphones work then speakers should as well as use the same output from the pc, just amplify it unlike headphones. You could also check in the cpanel to see if your speakers are set to speakers and not headphones but to be honest I cant see this stopping the speakers altogether.
