Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
I have a HP F380 Inkjet Printer. I recently purchased a non HP cartridge. However, when I load the it I get the following message:
Incorrect Print Cartridge(s)
The following print cartridge is not intended for use in this printer
Cartridge on Right
I have checked the manual but can't find anything. Can anyone help? Thanks
Try cleaning the circuit of the cartridge and the printer with a tissue paper.or you have to replace the cartridge and have to buy genuine hp cartridge.as the non hp is not getting detected because the circuit is faulty in that non hp cartridge.ask the shopkeeper to replace the cartridge with another same non hp cartridge.he should give you the another replacement cartridge as his cartridge is faulty.or tell him to get checked that non hp cartridge in other f380 printer if he would be having.and if the cartridge is working in another printer there is a problem in printer.
but as per my knowledge and experience its because there is dust either on the cartridge or on the printers circuit where u install the cartridge.try cleaning the contacts gently.it should work.

If the ink cartridge is one that is supported for your pritner, then it might be a problem cartridge. Cartridges have a shelf life. There's no telling how long it has been
sitting on a shelf, in the store or in a warehouse, before you bought
it. Ink is one item I feel that you get a fresher product, if you buy
it online. I think online stores have a much larger turnover, because
they service the whole country, instead of just a local community. An
online store will sell more in one day, than your local Office Depot
will in six months, therefore ordering more often, and keeping fresher
ink in stock.
