You can update your status in Facebook from Home and Profile page. If you want to include name of person whom you want to convey the message, then type @ first,followed by the name of person you want to include. You can get the names of your friends in dropdown that appears once you start punching in letters. You can include friends in comments also by using @.<br /><br />When you include your friend in status update via @, then those friends will see it in their wall,but nobody can comment on that post in your friend's wall.One have to click 'View Post' to open the post and then can comment on that same post. But friends can comment on the same wall post in your profile.<br /><br />You would get notifications like ' <your friend name> mentioned you in a comment/wall post'.<br />
Are you sending a private message, or trying to post a message on his page? Usually, the send button is below the area of the written message, or in the upper right corner. You can post a message on his page and hit post and it should show up
since 3/26/14 If I clicIf I click like on a friends comment it returns me back to the top of my face book wall// since 3/26/14 if I click on a friends name status to see theyr newest status it returns me back to the top of my face book home page, I tried clicking on that thingy on the right hand corner of my face book page to report problem but it jus freezes it does not open up, I have tried deactivating my acct again it jus freezes at that spot I have deactivated face book from my phone but I am still able to get to my wall on face book pleae Help I am so annoyed with this problem
Just leave facebook or make a new account.... TAKE ALL YOUR PICTURES OFF EXISTING ACCOUNT.. remove as meny comments as you can get rid of all friends then make a new account and put everything on private i hope i helped...unfortunatly theres no other way
