How do i format a Cd on windows xp

1 Open your disk drive2_bing.gif. Ensure that your disk drive is empty before proceeding, some CDs, especially CD-RWs, will be erased if you skip this step.
  • Step 2 Place CD-RW into CR-R drive. The disk drive may automatically detect this is an empty or "clean" disk. If so, skip to step 4.
  • Step 3 Find the disk. Click on "Start," then "My Computer," then on "Devices with Removable Storage," and then right-click on the CD-RW icon.
  • Step 4 Format the disk. Select "Format Disk" from either the drop down menu on Step 3 or from the Dialog Box in Step 2. This process should take only a few minutes to complete. If your CD-RW has information on it already, you may select "Erase CD-RW" instead of "Format Disk."

Need to factor reset,|NOT REBOOT, for acer aspire 3630 windows xp

    Hi and welcome to Fixya..

Reinstalling Windows XP on an Acer Aspire 3000 is fairly straightforward. You may need to reinstall Windows XP due to hardware failure, a virus infection, major hardware changes or a hard drive upgrade. Whatever the reason, you can do the reinstall yourself at home. The reinstall will take anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of your hard drive. Be aware that reinstalling Windows XP will format your hard drive, getting rid of all data on, so you'll want to back it all up on a media device.
    • Step 1
Back up all data on your computer before reinstalling.
  • Step 2 Insert the Windows XP disk and restart your computer.
  • Step 3 Press any key when prompted to begin running the disk.
  • Step 4 Press F8 to agree to the terms of service.
  • Step 5 Choose the partition you want to reinstall Windows XP on. This is usually "C:" for most users.
  • Step 6 Choose the type of format. You can choose either "Quick" or "Full" for NTFS systems. A quick format only takes a few minutes less than the full format.
  • Step 7 Wait for the format to complete. The Windows XP installation wizard will begin. You will be asked to choose your time zone, computer name, and to input any network information. Otherwise, the reinstall will run by itself.

  • I hope this helps

    Highlight your current Vista installation
    Select Advance

    Hai sir

    Try this: may help you
    http://tldp.org/LDP/lame/LAME/linux-admin-made-easy/domain-name-server.html
Note: Note: Red Hat versions 5.1 and earlier used the BIND 4.x package, which used a slightly different format for its configuration file. BIND 8.x offers more functionality over that offered by BIND 4.x, and as 4.x is no longer being developed, you should probably consider upgrading your BIND package to the latest version. Simply install the BIND RPM package (see Section 10.1 for details on using the RPM utility), then convert your configuration file to the new format.
