Question about Dishwashers
I solved the problem. It was only a co-incidence that the washer did not pump the water out after the power came back on.
First of all i had to see if the whole program worked and yes it did. I then had to verify to myself wether it was a program fault or a mechanical fault or a combination of both.
I began to dismantle machine to do a physical examination of pump. Upon my disbelief i had found a 1/2 pistacchio nut shell next to the impellor and 5 popcorn seeds.Seeing the pistacchio shell gave me a great sigh of relief as you would imagine. My next job was to apply 240v to the pump to verify
that it was mechanically and electrically sound which it was.
Everything was put back together and a wash program run.Ran like a dream.
There's an old saying, "never assume".My wife assumed a power blackout stuffed it up.Turning the power off at the machine or a powerblackout is the same thing, the program will restart again once power is restored.
My great concern about this incident is how those objects got past 3 sets of filters , the course one on top, the finer one under that and the really large fine one at the bottom. Regards F.Flex.
