We turned it all off and tried again. No luck. Cannot find reset button. Had professional to look as well and he couldn't find it either. Please help

SOURCE: will not start

One thing you can try is to hold down on the power button and plug the unit in. Hopefully you will hear a "beep". Then you need to unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. This is a known procedure to clear error codes from the control computer on units similar to yours, so it might possibly work. Something else you can do is download and look through the Users Manual for your model, which is at this URL: --> http://www.haier.com/products/product.asp?proID=3632 Hope that helps! ;)

SOURCE: The Reset button on cord

There's obviously there is a short or electrical overheating problems omewhere in the appliance that's causing the circuit breaker (Reset Button) to trip. Stop using the AC unit and have it checked by a professional.

Is the display panel lit up? If not look for a fuse mounted on the board.Take the fuse to radio shack and get another. Unplug the unit before attempting to service it.

E3 error on LIfesmart heater

Even after replacing thermostat and motherboard offered from company, my heater would trigger e3 error code and shut off. After several (maybe 100!) different attempts to plug in and operate, here is what worked for me!
Depress the power button on the heater while plugging in to wall circuit. Continuously depress power button. It will run through a test cycle and attempt to start. Keep depressing the power button as the heater tries to start, then shuts down with e3 error. While the power button is still depressed, unplug the unit from the wall. When I plug back in the wall the E3 error is gone. Good luck

Remote does not switch unit off have to turn off at mains otherwise remote works ok

Possible that the power off control pad in the remote had gone weak. If all the other functions work then it is possible that the pad had worn off. Point the remote to your phone camera and press each button , if you do not see an ouput at the power off button then the remote is faulty.

I get an error code e1 and have cleaned and replaced the filter. Runs for a couple minutes then shuts of with same message. Any ideas?

THIS SHOULD RESET IT
1 DISCONECT THE POWER PLUG FROM POWER SUPPLY 2 CLEAN FILTER 3 HOLD DOWN THE POWER ON/OF BUTON ON THE UNIT AND PLUG THE UNIT KEEP PRESSING UNTILL IT EMITS A BEEP SOUND FOR APROX 5 SECONDS 4 DISCONECT POWER AND PLUG AGAIN
IF THAT DOES NOT WORK 1 DISCONECT UNIT 2 HOLD DOWN THE MODE KEY ON THE PAD OF THE UNIT AND PLUG THE UNIT KEEP PRESSING UNTIL IT EMITS A BEEP SOUND APROX 3 SECONDS THE UNIT WILL START. 3 STOP THE UNITS OPERATION BY PRESING ON/OF 4 RESTART UNIT.

Tuble dryer leaking, water not collecting in the water draw, tripping electricity, keeps coming up with the sign to empty water although water draw is empty

You didn't mention what brand appliance you have, so I'm only guessing. It may be that the water pump is jammed by some foreign object that has worked it's way down the drain line to the pump and locked it up. That not only would explain the leaking, it would also trip the circuit breaker when the pump stalls and overheats. Although you didn't say what brand this appliance is, I suspect it an all in one washer/dryer.

In any event, without knowing more details on what you really have and the manufacturer's name, all I can recommend is consult your Owners Manual or call a service technician.

HAVE A DIMPLEX PORTABLE AIR-CON HAD IT FOR 6 MONTHS . LATEY WHEN YOU TURN IT ON AFTER 5 MINS IT BEEPS AND THE CODE E7 KEEPS FLASHING. CAN NOT FIND THE MANUAL SO DONT KNOW WHAT IT MEANS..PLEASE HELP

The E7 message indicates that the unit is full of water and needs to be drained. The drain plug is on the back of the machine towards the bottom on the right as you face the back of the machine.
You can empty the unit by pulling out the black stopper and tilting the air conditioner slightly to drain. Make sure you do it over a container or outside though, there's quite a bit of liquid.
To replace your instruction manual, you can find a pdf version of it here:
