Question about HP LaserJet 1300 Printer
Then the job times out about 2 minutes later. HP wanted to charge me 40 dollars to diagnose and solve. So naturally I'm searching for the gratis solution...
In addition, before this latest development, I had a problem for about a year where the printer would no matter what stop halfway through the job, and I would have to restart the job to print the remainder of the document. Don't know where the genesis of either of these problems lies, but I think they're related...

A few possible reasons
Print Driver is corrupt
Replace the print Driver
Printer memory set on the computer for a larger size then what the printer has.
Print a configuration page on the printer. (Press and hold down the large button for 7 seconds no longer than 15seconds) When the light flashes release the button.
On the page you will see the Memory size. Make sure you computer is set to the proper avail printer memory.
