Ace digital timer & cord combo pack

Here are all the functions of this switch:
F = Switch is Off
O = Switch is constantly On (no timer mode)
d = Switch turns On at Dusk, and turns Off at Dawn
1-9 = Switch turns On at Dusk, and turns Off after the number of hours shown in the display
1.-9. = Switch turns On immediately, and turns Off after the number of hours shown in the display

2) Timer turns ON automatically at dusk.
Push button to select duration of ON time.
d is probably dawn, so dawn-dusk
Maybe A is always ON, and maybe F always OFF.
1-9 will be number of hours timer remains ON, for example ON at dusk and OFF 9 hours later.

There are 3 different digital timers and each works similarly.

Each of these timers is dawn-dusk timers that turn ON at dusk.
Then you can set options for how many hours the timer works until lights turn OFF.

I don't have repair for defect timer, except return to Home Depot and exchange for another.
Try unplugging timer to see if will reset. There is no specific reset button on timer.
Test outlet with circuit analyzer to confirm there are no electrical problems.

The label shows advisories: Don't use extension cord, unplug unit when working on bulbs, and plug unit into GFCI protected outlet to protect from surge and short.

Other advisories not shown: Unplug power pack if breaker trips or if power goes out. Wait until power is on before plugging back in. First bulb should be 10 feet from unit. Do not wrap extra cord around power pack. Match bulb wattage and power pack wattage: 200 watt power pack should have 200 watts and not more or less. Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out.
These advisories should not affect initial operation of timer, but are things that shorten life of power packs,

Instructions:
Yard stake control outlets, and turns ON automatically at Dusk
Rotate dial to set options:
Rotate to OFF > outlets OFF
Rotate to ON > outlets ON
Rotate to Dusk-dawn > outlets on at dusk and off at dawn
Rotate to 2 4 6 8 > outlets on at dusk and off 2 4 6 8 hours later

From these instructions, you should push button until 6 displays. Timer will turn ON at dusk and turn OFF 6 hours later
If timer.
If you want timer to turn ON immediately and turn OFF 6 hours later, push button until 6. shows in display.

If timer does not display or does not operate correctly, then timer is suspect. Return timer for another one.
