Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRP200 Router
Hey.. I have setup my linksys WRP400 router with Dlink 502GT modem+router in normal mode. The firewall in both the devices has been turned off. Now the problem is i can mae outbound calls but when it comes to inbound i can hear the ring but when i pick up the line then nothing happens. I cant hear anything and the other party hears an engage tone.
Had a word with linksys support they opened up a few ports and brought about a few changes in the system but no luck. Still the same issue. Please Help
This could be due to the fact the when using multiple routers you need to let the main router know the routes into the second router.
I do have a question as to why you would use the second router and not the dlink?
I would suggest dropping the dlink router/modem and get your ISP to send you just a modem and then use the linksys. Or of course don't use the linksys and just use the dlink.
