After installing new black # 830 and color #831 cartrideges the printer alarm light on still and black ink alarm indicator is blinking dispaly shows E- 4. can any one sugest solution for it?

E5 is a Cartridge cannot be recognized error.
Reinstalling the cartridge could clear the alarm.
If this does not work,
Removed both ink cartridges.
Turn off printer and unplug fron electrical outlet.
Wait at least 5 minutes.
This will let the printer reset itself.
Plug printer back in and turn on.
Printer will cycle and an E5 will appear.
Installed back ink cartridges.

Try this one, Turn on the printer, Take out the inks, remove the printhead, put back the printhead make sure it will snap and you hear a click, put the inks back, wait for the printer to initialize, then print calibration page by pressing Photo and Cancel at the same time, then scan it after. Load a regular paper. Then try to print a demo page by pressing Photo and Copy at the same for 5 seconds then let it go.
