The page setup for Outlook Express are controlled by the settings in
Internet Explorer. Use Page Setup in IE to change the margins and that
will fix your problem...

Good luck..

Open the outlook setting, and in the boxes that appears strange characters erase them and apply.
If that do not work, open the printer set up and select 100% page fit.

Have you made sure the correct paper size is selected in page setup within outlook express?
Try to preview the file and see if the page is set correctly.

The easiest method (or workaround) to this problem would be to simply copy paste the text to MS Word and print it from there...

Did you check the following settings?

Click on "Start"
Go to "Control Panel "
Open "Printers and Faxes
Chose "Set printer properties"
Select "Print Processor"
Set Default Data Type to TEXT and not RAW

Check that the print data is text , and not raw.

If this does not fix the problem, then on Outlook experee

Chose File Menu from top bar >> Chose Print command from dropdown menu >> click the Properties button >> on printer properties check the print layout setup, and layout option, see if you can add a margin.

Canon mg5200 printer is cutting off print from the left margin. How to fix?

You need to check the settings in the program you are using to print from. Check that paper size is set for the paper you are actually using. The usual culprit is A4 on program to Letter in the printer. Also check that Margins are set to Default.

Try copying and pasting to word. I have had this problem once or twice and this seemed to solve the problem. I still don't know why it happens.

The printer will print OK from the desktop, but when I print from emails it cuts the right margin back about 2" - nothing will print on the right hand side of the page. I tried dumping the driver program...

Dear Glenn27,
As you mentioned, printer works fine normally however the issue is only while printing emails.. so I would like to know the email program that is in use .. I mean, do you use Outlook, Outlook Express or webmail or Lotus notes etc..
If this is a repeated question then I would like to apologies as we experts are not allowed to peep into other experts' solutions so I cannot see the responses by the previous expert.

Also please let me know the following printer settings ..
AUTO WRAP, RIGHT MARGIN, LEFT MARGIN,

What happens when you copy the email text to a standard text editor like Notepad or Ms Word and then try printing .. does it still print with right margin extended?

Waiting for your response.

Regards,
Srinivas

Check you Page Setup andmargin set. Sounds like the page isn't set up properly. When you typing a document, go to the FILE then PAGE SETUP. Margins and Paper Layout.

When you print a email. do it from file - print, check the page range, make sure all is checked, look into the preferences make sure the right size of paper is set. It must be a setting in outlook.

Hi there,
Have you try to Copy paste the content of Outlook to Word and then try to print.

As Outlook have lesser option to set for printing. And may not possess all the features to print it correctly.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Margin problem

Problem---Printer prints email on the very edge of the paper and leaves off the first 3 letters of every word down the edge of that margin. If you have Windows Live Mail forget trying to fix it from there. Clicking File will not give you the page setup option you are looking for. Go to the bottom of the screen, click "all programs", look for and click "Internet Explorer", click File, click "page setup". A screen comes up in which you can change the margins. The left margin is probably set on .25. Change it to .75. Okay. Go back and run a test email.
