How can I put more than one picture on my desktop?

you can use a photo program to make a collage of photos and save as one. you could even use the paint program that is preinstalled on your pc. just open paint and add photos, shrink them down to smaller size and create your single image out of many. then go to file and "save as" so you can place the file in your photo album or wherever you would like.

Need to know how to download pictures that were done in powerpoint into windows live photo gallery. computer does not have powerpoint.

Download openoffice.org from Here: www.openoffice.org

It is a free open-source alternative to MS Office, and should be able to read your power point presentation. Then you can download the pictures from there.

Good Luck

How can i change the format that my "magix Photostory CD & DVD" program burns my pictures/music to a DVD that WILL play on a home DVD player and not just a computer? I have a Windows XP

There are three ways to create a Video CD (VCD) that contains your photo stories:
You can obtain Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition and view the Photo Story 3-authored WMV file in Photo Story 2 by going to Play your story or create a video CD of your story and then create a VCD.using the Photo Story 2 Video CD-burning feature.
• You can obtain Microsoft Digital Image Suite 10 or above and view the Photo Story 3-authored WMV file in the Photo Story that comes with the Digital Image Library and save and burn to VCD.
• You can obtain VCD-authoring products that work with Photo Story files, such as MyDVD by Sonic Solutions or InstantCD\DVD by Pinnacle Systems. You can use these software to convert the Windows Media video (WMV) files into files that can be copied to a DVD and played in a DVD player.
Note: VCD and DVD-authoring software is not included with Photo Story 3.

I'd like to learn how to edit the photos we have online and put the ones we like into a folder.

do you want to resize and crop etc? if so you can right click the file on the web page over the picture once you are in full size view of the photo in question and click save to disk. save it in my documents/my pictures. you can then edit the pictures by going to start menu clicking on my pictures and selecting the photo right click on it and select "edit" you can then resize it with microsoft paint. it is a free program that comes with windows click on help and then search for "resize" or "crop" for simple instructions on how to do this.

Turning off messages and savings pictures

First of all, a recovery disk would be helpful to make for future purposes. so if the backup program open, you might use it.

but if you get tired of the HP software opening--
1.click START-PROGRAMS-STARTUP--- delete any shortcuts here.
2.click start-run- type in "msconfig" when it opens , select the startup tab
uncheck all the boxes of programs you wish not to start when windows starts, click apply, then OK.
restart the computer. when it tells you "you have used the system configurator to change the way windows starts" check the box telling it not to tell you again and click OK.

this will NOT unistall any programs, just sets them to not open untill you manually open them which frees up system resources and make the computer run better.

Depending on the type of file you are downloading, If its a Jpeg. Windows Fax & Picture viewer should open it.

Check the file extension that you downloaded and verify it is an Image file i.e (bmp, tiff, jpeg, gif)... Then, right click that file, choose properties and see Which program opens it.

If there isnt a default setup Click on Change...and choose Windows Fax & Picture Viewer502fd15.jpg
