Question about Zebra LP 2844 Thermal Printer
We have three printers connected directly to the computer. The LP2844 (Zebra) will que jobs but won't print them until you reboot (and then skips some). Real pain. Have tried working with UPS tech support and they can't seem to fix it. Please help.
They are not talking about an HP printer here they are talking Zebra and there is no SNMP option opn the zebra printers - try sticking to the topic.

Not yet sure if this is a permanent soln- but i was having the same problem with my wirelessly networked HP L7780. it would queue jobs, but show the printer as offline and only print queued jobs during a reboot.
i went to the printer properties (as detailed by PABLOCSA) and _unchecked_ SNMP Status Enabled (as suggested on another forum). doing so immediatly started printing spooled jobs... but i'm not yet sure if this is a long term fix.

Probably you have some conflict on your printer ports. Go to your installed printer (Printer folder) and select one of them, >> righ click >> go to properties >> Ports
and see which port is taking the first printer, which is taking the second one and which the third one. It is problably than 2 of them are using the same port. (Virtual USB)

Tips for a great answer:
1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the
print spooler service)
2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\
folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the
time you tried to print - delete these files.
3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the
print spooler service)
4. Double click the printer icon in the lower-right
corner of your taskbar to examine your print job queue and browse to View ->
I hope this information has been helpful.
