Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
How to remove bios password ?
model dell 6400.................pls hep me
If you are not afraid to open the box, the simple fix would be to remove the cpu battery(looks like a quarter) for about 30 seconds and replace, then boot up. At that point it will ask for information such as date and time, but then you can access the bios

No that wont work ^. what might have to be done is remove battery for at least 2 hrs and hit power button every 20 mins or so. reason why i know this wont work is cause i am dell certified. that only works on desktops. for laptops sometimes u have to change a small chip usualy atmel 2404c or somethign close. i ordered a chip from germany in ebay and it worked for inspiron 6000.
