Hi, frst: did you set the staples according to the instructions? second: try the few times remove and insert staple cartridge in and out, until you heare the loading clicks. third: check the staple holder for damadges or residuals of staples.
Follow instruction on door. Push in on both sides of staple cart pull the top up install the new staple pack dont pull string on staple pack until its inside. (Staples on the floor:)) Don't throw away the plastic cart itself insure the arrows on the new staple pack match the direction on the old run or the staples will be upside down and not able to get out of the pack
If I remember correctly, you open the cover and there should be a release handle, the staple unit will swing/ slide out , gently grasp the used staple cart. and while pushing down and pulling out. Install new staples.
please make sure that there are no staples jammed in the unit, take the staple cartridge out, release the leaver on the staple cartridge and remove the first sheet of staples, close up the leaver, and reinsert in the copier.
pull about 1 inch of staples out of the cartridge, tear off the 1 inch so new staples are flush with plastic cartridge. Reinstall and make 10 stapled sets. By the time it tries to staple set number 3 or 4 you should start to see the staples working. It could take as many as 8 or 9 sets for the staples to advance far enough.
