Printing is way to light

I just purchased new cartridges and my printing is a faint blue green.
I tried to remove the cartridges to return them to the store but they will not budge. Could the problem be something else?

If your prints are coming out with blue green tint, more than likely, the magenta (pink) is missing from your calibration page. Print out a calibration sheet, you should have black, yellow, blue, and magenta. If one of these colors is missing, your printhead is clogged. You need a new one. Call Kodak Tech Support.

Are the cartridges genuine? If not, you could have this problem. Always use genuine inks. ALso check the printer properties and ensure that you have not set the setting to Economy Print.

Faint grey printing

According to the service manual for problems with light print image, the cause can be the Developers or High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS). Other possible causes are given as: Developer roller is stained when the toner or developer cartridge is almost consumed. Ambient temperature is below 10 degrees Centigrade. Bad contacts with the HVPS or abnormal output from the HVPS. To replace the Developers you would need to purchase a replacement Imaging Kit CLP-R300A. Any problems in the HVPS would require a factory repair.

Change to New Genunie Cartridges.

Hello, In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4600, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. That sounds like your problem. Also in Purchasing the Brother's . Color that should be blue will be Green, also Yellow, will turn out Green, etc. All Generic Cartridges, will print lines thru the words, and also do a mix match with the colors. That's what the Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges. Some Printers, are able to use Generic, but you have to fill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.

So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for the PRINTERS.

This is the only advice I can give you. If you find this helpful, pls rate me.

Thanks and Good Luck :0)

The problem can be two fold. Wrong cartridges, or blocked/damaged inkjet openings. Return it to the seller under warranty if its brand new. If it was fitted with non epson cartridges your warranty may be in question.

But I could almost guarantee the black qand the blue cartridges are faulty or their feed jets are

Usually, it's the print cartridge. I recently installed a new black cartridge on a 6110 printer and it, too, was very faint in printing. It turned out to be "dried up", even though it was a new cartridge in a sealed bag (but purchased in 2005).

Printer is printing every line two times and is faint

if you said you have done and removed the tape and run all test, chances are the cartridge itself is the problem , return to vendor for a new replacement, this can sometimes happen

Printing light blue will full ink

its either the catridge head is bad or yr new ink isnt too good although its new it still can go bad. now try using menthylated spirit sucked in a tooth brush thats not too hard . use it to clean the inside of the cartridge head. that is those spots inside. cos atimes dirty could cause such problems. so try it out.
hope this helps
thanks
