You should be able to drain the water first using the small hose next to the filter knob. Sometimes the hose is plugged up, in which case you will spill water out the filter, or a better solution is to pull the washer forward a foot and a half, tip it back so the water goes to the back of the tub, then remove the filter, clean it, and reinstall.

02661402000 kenmore washer wont get water out stops on rinse cycle

If the outlet water pump works, the most common solution for this type of problem is cleaning the filter which gets stuffed with dirt and bits and doesn't let enough water out. At that point the pump will stop as a self protective action. To clean the filter, take off the long rectangular cover on the bottom front of the machine (you shouldn't need to unscrew anything, it should just clip off). Then unscrew the filter BUT WATCH OUT, water will come out. Be prepared. Clean the filter, screw it back in and test it by starting the program you usually set it on. Hope it helps.

What's F-21

This error code F21 signifies a drain problem and usually caused by a blocked drain filter. Check to make sure that the drain hose is free from obstructions then remove the three screws securing the bottom front panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You may prop up the bottom front edge of the machine with a 4X4 block of wood or cushion the top rear edge and lean it against the wall for easy access and removal of the screws.

Once the bottom front panel is off, you'll find the drain filter knob. Turn the knob counterclockwise to remove and clean the filter. You may need to lay a towel under the filter to catch residual water before removing it. Manually drain the water, by gravity, from the tub if significant amount of water is still present by placing the end of the drain hose as low as possible into a basin or bucket.

Click on the link below if cleaning the drain filter doesn't solve the problem.

How do you remove the filter???? it doesnt say in the instructions

The drain filter in Whirlpool front load washers is located at bottom front inside of the machine. Remove the screws securing the bottom front panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the machine with a block of wood or cushion the rear top edge and lean it against the wall for easy access and removal of the screws.

Once the panel is off, you'll find a knob which the filter itself. Turn the knob counterclockwise to remove and clean the filter. You may need to lay a towel under the filter to catch residual water before removing it. Manually drain the water, by gravity, from the tub if significant amount of water is still present by placing the end of the drain hose as low as possible into a basin or bucket.

The "drainage blocked" is on.

ON THE LOWER FRONT OF THE MACHINE THERE IS A COVER THAT CAN BE REMOVED
WITH A COIN OR SCREW DRIVER ---- HAS 2 TWIST SCREWS HOLDING IT ------
ONCE REMOVED YOU WILL SEE A DRAIN PLUG ON THE LEFT LOWER CORNER --
THIS HAS A PLASTIC TURN KNOB THAT OPENS BY HAND ... SOMETIMES A BIT HARD TO OPEN BUT TURN KNOB LEFT AND WILL OPEN ....... WATER WILL START TO LEAK OUT AS YOU OPEN THIS BUT DON'T WORRY -- THIS HAS TO HAPPEN --- NOT ALL THAT MUCH WATER BUT BE PREPARED TO MOP IT UP ......... NEXT PULL THE DRAIN FILTER OUT FROM
THIS OPENING AND WASH IT OUT ... ALSO REACH IN TO THE OPENING WITH FINGERS AS
THERE MAY BE SOME BLOCKAGE BEHIND THE FILTER AS WELL.. BE CAREFUL NOT TO
DAMAGE THE PLASTIC PROPELLER DEEP INSIDE THE HOLE , THIS IS WHAT SPINS AND TAKES THE WATER OUT OF THE MACHINE ....... VERY EASY TO DO ---- JUST NEED TO
DO IT ONCE TO UNDERSTAND THE PROCEDURE... UNPLUG MACHINE BEFORE CLEANING ................

Filter needs cleaning. How do I get at the filter?

Dishwasher filters are important to catch food particles and other debris. The dishwasher cleans small portions of food from the dishes, cooking pans and silverware. These particles must go somewhere. The drainage system on the washer may clog if filters are not present. Most Maytag dishwasher models have two types of filters, "Coarse" and "Fine." You should clean the "Coarse" filter after two or three wash loads. The "Fine" filter can wait for a cleaning for about 300 loads or three months.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Easy Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • Sink sponge
  1. Empty the dishwasher. Remove all dishes including pots, pans and silverware.
  2. Pull the bottom rack out as far as possible. The filters are under the basket on the Maytag dishwashers. It may be convenient to lift the rack out. Typically, if you lift, the wheels leave the track.
  3. Remove the "Coarse" filter. This filter is a small, round knob in the middle of the "Fine" filter. A round knob is around the "Coarse" filter. Hold on to the handle and lift straight up.
  4. Knock the contents of the "Coarse" filter into the garbage can. Run the faucet to remove smaller particles. Wipe the dishwasher filter with the sink sponge if debris is stuck-on. Push back into the filter holder when complete.
  5. Take out the "Fine" filter. Turn the round knob that is around the "Coarse" filter counter-clockwise. Once the knob is loose, pull up. The "Fine" filter will come out of the dishwasher.
  6. Rinse the "Fine" filter with the hot water faucet. Scrub with the sink sponge to remove any stuck-on fragments. Replace the filter into the dishwasher. Push down and turn the knob clockwise to tighten.

My bosh has been having problems such as when I do 2-3 loads of clothes there will be water still in the bottom. So I have to run a spin cycle to get it out. Or it will eat my clothes my bedding by...

could be as simple as cleaning the screen trap on pump "the factory doesnt like the consumer doing this'and does not provide instructions in owners manual. you will need towels to sop the excess water if you open the filter knob/handle. also you can shut the water off and do several spin/or drain cycles to get rid of most of what water is left in tub before begining as a lot of water in tub can cause several gallons of water to spill on floor ! this is the reason the factorty dosent want you to mess with it! unplug washer then take a small nail and insert in "hole"of round cover and push in just a little 1/4 inch and turn cover located at bottom right side of machine "front side of machine " you will see filter knob turn it to the left "counterclockw"
clean it and replace and snug it up. eror E:04 says bad control board but that machine must be able to do the very basic operations such as unkinked drain hose, clean filter /good water pump, corect amount of soap ect.. to work right or you may get sporadic operation error codes that are not true!
unplug it and start over!
