Question about Hampton Bay 04078 Avanti Ceiling Fan
One of my matched pair of Windward 2 ceiling fans makes a horrible loud shriek each rotation. Sounds like bearing or motor. Can it be repaired? It would be difficult to match to the other as a replacement, and I like to keep stuff out of the waste stream. I have not been able to locate anyone willing to attempt to troubleshoot or repair the fan.
We use the fans a lot both summer and winter, on low or med.
Check to make sure the blades srews are tight, I've had e srcews come loose on the blades
